Café Name: Nana's Green Tea
Are you a Matcha (Green Tea) and lover? Are you in love with Japanese food and desserts? Nana's Green Tea will be a must try place for you if you happen to hang around Plaza Singapura!
Having occupied the surface area of 3 shop units on level 3, Nana's Green Tea is a café too hard to miss in the new wing of Plaza Singapura~

Le' Ambience
The poached egg looked so tempting! |
I love the interior design of the café. It is bright but not to the extent that it is glaring. I like how they use the warm orange lightings on the square frames which act as a fence and dining table.
So warm and bright! |
As mentioned earlier, Nana's Green Tea occupies 3 shop units in the Plaza Singapura shopping mall and hence it is very spacious for an open concept café. Also, the place is not too crowded and noisy like what we would expect from normal open concept places.
The place is ideal for families with kids as they provide baby seats too :)
Baby Chairs Provided :) |
Le' Menu
Nana's Green Tea offers a vast array of Japanese foodies and sweets which is quite impossible for me to snap every single page of their menu and insert it in here. You just have to go to the café and explore the menu yourself or see the photos from their Facebook page :)
Every Day Set Lunch @ S$13.90++ |
Oh yes, they offer Set Lunches too.. And it is really affordable!

Nana's Green Tea serves healthy Millet Rice too :) Millet Rice uses an ancient rice recipe which contains 10 different kinds of cereal mixed with polished rice. It is extremely nutritious and promotes cardiovascular health.

I didn't know that Kanten contains no calories and helps to maintain immunity too!

WOW! The word "Healthy" sums up the food served by Nana's Green Tea in conclusion ~
What I Ordered
After much contemplation, I felt that it is a must to try their famed Matcha. Hence I ordered M9 Matcha Soft Cream Latte as I love soft-serve ice-creams too. As for my main course, I ordered the Salmon Don as I am a Sashimi lover.

This is indeed one of the MUST-Tries here. The Soft-Served ice-cream doesn't melt that fast, the Matcha has a very very rich taste. The green tea tasted slightly powdery but that is how authentic Matcha should taste. I have no regrets ordering this seriously ♥~

The drink is not as sweet as the Green Tea Latte served by Starbucks which makes it slightly more healthy. Also, it tastes better than my favourite Green Tea Latte from Starbucks too! I loving this to bits now ♥~

R10 Salmon Don (SGD14.80++)
Salmon sashimi served over warm Japanese rice garnished with Sesame, Nori, Japanese pickled ginger, Spring Onion, Daikon Sprout
R10 Salmon Don (SGD14.80++) |
I have thought that Millet rice, like brown rice would taste very rough and yucky...
But... I was completely wrong!
This dish tasted great! Needless to say, the sashimi is fresh and the rice was cooked to perfection. I loved the combination of all ingredients :)
Yum Yum Sashimi ~~~~ |
Kudos to Nana's Green Tea which makes healthy food good-tasting too!
Everything tasted so great that I finished the entire bowl of rice!
The Cup of Miso Soup which comes with the Don |
R9 Salmon and Maguro Chirashi Don (SGD15.80++)
Soy marinated tuna and salmon served over warm Japanese rice with nori, yellow pickled radish, Japanese pickled ginger, spring onion, egg, sesame
I ordered this during my third visit.

This comes together with a cup of miso soup as well.
The taste is great but I still prefer Salmon Sashimi over Maguro (Tuna) ;)

For the first time, I am in love with parfaits!
I ultra love that Matcha Gateaux Chocolate Cake which had a light Matcha fragrance.
In fact, Sweetie Muffin and I were vying to eat this dessert as we were sharing this :D
This is indeed heavenly ~ |
Le' Service
The Service is very prompt and the staff is very friendly. All you need to do is to press the Service button and the staff will attend to you shortly ♥~
However, service might be slow during weekends when the place gets flooded by diners :(
