We were simply exploring Holland Village and chanced upon this restaurant for semi-fine dining (as the brochure claimed). This restaurant claims to serve only Authentic Italian cuisine and hence we were curious on how would the food taste like. Hence we entered without much consideration since we were hungry...
Le' Ambience
The place reminds me of a crypt which I have visited during my trip to Rome, Italy.
The wall painting looked kind of creepy and reminded me of Da Vinci Code somehow..

You can see the chef preparing the foodie behind the glass panel too...
Le' Menu
"A Multi-Award Winning Semi-Fine Dining Italian Restaurant" - quoted from the Menu's Caption... |
Le' Food
Pizza Quattiro Fornaggi (SGD26.90++)
Gorgonzola, Buffalo Mozzarella, Scamorza and Ricotta Cheese
The pizza tasted fine but not say very fantastic to deserve that price tag... We prefer the pizza at Skinny Pizza somehow..
Primo a base di came (SGD42.90++)
Lamb Rack, Tenderloin of Beef and Chicken Thigh served with Truffle Red Wine Sauce and Chef Special Dip
This is utter madness! Almost SGD50 for a platter! And the 3 of us were sharing this one platter...
In addition to the small portion, the meat served were all so difficult to dissect... We spent over 10 minutes trying to cut the meat and apportion it.. And.. The mutton was so damn hard to chew - in fact we spent a good 5 minutes chewing the mutton before we can swallow it ultimately. Hence, we were grateful that we ordered ONE platter for sharing.. Imagine you having to cut and chew this plate of meat all alone - how pathetic!
Hence that sums out our little misadventure in this place with a total bill that amounts to be approximately SGD90. Ultra overpriced and dissatisfied for sure!
