Food Adventures @ Singapore Changi Airport T3 (Part I)
|
#1 Stop @ ITACHO SUSHI |
Sweetie Muffin had another wedding banquet to attend @
Crowne Plaza Hotel and hence we had our dinner at Changi Airport T3 after our church service.
As we have not tried Itacho Sushi for a very long time (we only visited the restaurant twice when it first opened in Singapore @ Plaza Singapura and the queue was usually very long), we decided to pop by to try the sushis ~
We sat at a corner of the restaurant but the place was rather rowdy.
Le' Menu
|
Menu @ Main Entrance |
The main menu comprises mainly of different variety of sushis.
|
Le' Main Menu |
The danger of ordering from this menu is that you might just burst your budget without yourself knowing. Also, you are paying mostly for each individual sushi unlike other Japanese restaurants whereby you pay for a platter of assorted sushis / plate of 3 sushis? Applying the law of large number, we would actually prefer not to order sushis individually as it is not too economical.

Hot Matcha
Hot Green Tea was served whilst we were ordering our food.

Da Rabbit + Kriston |
Salmon Sashimi (SGD3.90++)
This dish was served with 3 big slices of Salmon Sashimi which tasted really fresh and supple.
Really love how the salmon melts in my mouth ~~
|
Salmon Sashimi (SGD3.90++) |
Crab and Crab Miso Warship (SGD2.20++) x1
Curry Lobster (SGD2.40++) x2

Crab and Crab Miso Warship and Curry Lobster Sushis |
Curry Beef w/ Rice (SGD13++)
The picture on the menu looked appetising...
|
Curry Beef w/ Rice (SGD13++) |
But.. In reality...
The portion was actually super small :(
|
Pathetic Portion |
What was most disappointing is that Kriston said the curry tasted like those ready-made packet types bought from Daiso. Taste was average as well hence it is not recommended to order this.
Cold Green Tea Noodles (SGD4.20++)
|
Cold Green Tea Noodles (SGD4.20++) |
Tasted so-so but worth it for this pricing. A pity that they do not include quail's eggs :(

DF Shrimp Green Tea Gyoza
The boys love Gyoza!
I still prefer the Chinese styled Gyozas to the Japanese one as the latter is more oily and deep fried.

DF Shrimp Green Tea Gyoza |
Salmon Salad Lobster Roll (SGD3.20++)
Would still prefer eating Salmon Sashimi on its own as the lobster tasted like shrimp?

Salmon Salad Lobster Roll (SGD3.20++) |
Cod Liver Roll (SGD7.80++)
|
Cod Liver Roll (SGD7.80++) |
Love the fragrance from the black sesame :)
NO Clam w/ Butter and Pepper
The black pepper sprinkled on the clams was huge and coarse.
Just beware whilst eating this as the black pepper granules might get stuck in your teeth without you realising!

NO Clam w/ Butter and Pepper |
Softshell Crab Salad w/ Sesame Dressing (SGD8.90++)
|
Softshell Crab Salad w/ Sesame Dressing (SGD8.90++) |
Portion is good for sharing and ironically, the boys said that this dish tasted the best... Meh~
|
Close-Up |
Overall
The food there was overpriced although some of their dishes tasted great like the Salmon Sashimi and Softshell Crab Salad.
The total bill was under SGD70 in total for the 3 of us and the food tasted average.
As the hungry boys were not satisfied over this meal, we headed off to our next destination -
4Fingers Crispy Chicken to fill our semi-full bellies.
