In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the CBD area, we found some solace in this little corner under the CPF Building located along Robinson Road.
Hey! Its FRIDAY! TGIF (Thank God It's Friday)!!! ♥♥♥
However the weather is still as gloomy. Luckily Da Rabbit's lunch kaki - Prince William is there to amuse Da Rabbit during lunch this afternoon ♥~
When the weather is gloomy, it time for hot soupy stuff!!
Prince Willy showed Da Rabbit around Robinson Road this afternoon (yes, have to explain that Da Rabbit is a Direction Idiot) and introduced her to this place which serves Vietnamese Cuisine.. When he first mentioned about Pastamania, Da Rabbit rolled her eyes in disbelief.. Isn't Pastamania supposed to serve Pasta and Italian Foodie?!
Okies, Da Rabbit just crawled out of her Rabbit Hole *Shrugs*
So, we explored the menu and ordered a bowl of Beef Noodle Soup each.
Le' Ambience
We decided on sitting outside as the air-con was a little too cold for a weather like this..
Its actually quite cozy outside and you get to see passer-by striding down the alley and cars zooming across the roads... Feels like Al Fresco dining in Paris *like real*!!
Our Number Tag - We are the 12th Customer?
As we had early lunch (we departed the office at 11:30), hence the lunch crowd has not arrived and we managed to get seats and chill around.. Love this spacious feelin'! ♥♥
Beef Noodle Soup (S$8.90 each)
The pricing is average judging that there is a decent place for us to dine-in.
The noodle is smooth and nice and we were basically slurping it down our throat together with the soup. The soup has a very beefy taste to it but its a tad too salty for the health conscious ones. And we think that the soup contains lots of MSG, which was why were were rushing to get beverages to quench our thirst later..
Overall
Its a great place to chill and to enjoy the view in a CBD area... Will come again if there's next time.. LOL
After our lunch, we walked to this stall which sells Chinese-Styled drinks. This stall usually have very long queues, even in the mornings and hence we were discouraged to give the drinks a try due to the long wait. However, perhaps due to the gloomy weather, the queue was ultra short and we've decided to give it a try!

What Da Rabbit ordered
Hot Honey Lemon Tea (S$1.20)
The Tea fragrance is very strong, in fact stronger than the Lemon. To Da Rabbit's amazement, the beverage did not taste like the typical sweetened ones. Don't think there's any sugar taste in it at all. Love the tea fragrance..
Yes, and by the way, you'll see a slice of lemon when you are finishing your beverage! Too much information... *Oops*
Soz, that marks the end of Rabbit's Friday Lunchie Muse and THANKS Price Willy for treating the lunch. Enjoy lunching with Price Willy especially we have been colleagues for so long.. Since our Europe Days ~
A photo to commemorate our years of Friendship ♥
Ending off with the X'mas tree below our office building...
Have a blessed weekend peeps! ♥♥
