Looking for a decent place for a cup of coffee and enjoy some artisan pastries at the Marina Bay area?

As explained in my previous post (http://musings-of-a-rabbit.blogspot.sg/2013/12/wheat-baumkuchen-food-garden-asia.html) about the Marina Bay area and Asia Square, this place is indeed the strategic location for commerce and ATAS (pricey) food.

Artisan Boulangerie Co. is one of the bakery / cafe which has opened in Asia Square to cater to the people working at the nearby office buildings. Like Paris Baguette, artisan boulangerie co. has its French influences too. Helmed by award-winning French Baker - Eran Mayer, the pastries are made with the finest ingredients using traditional artisan baking techniques.

Le' Ambience

The place is very spacious and quiet - ideal for casual meet-ups with business partners and morning departmental meetings. It is very warm and cozy and I really love their teal-coloured lamps at the counter area.

Oh yes, they do serve wines / beers so this makes the cafe a great place to chill after work too :)

Le' Menu

The bakery cum cafe offers a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, quiches, pies, and breads.

Le' Food

Portobello Mushroom and Feta (SGD9.80+)

Portobello, Capsicum, Caramelized Onions, Alfalfa Sprouts, Tomato Pesto and Feta

Portobello Mushroom and Feta (SGD9.80+)

I had my sandwich heated up and hence it tasted warm and nice.

Also, the Alfafa Sprouts makes my filling looks like a mini jungle~ I feel ultra healthy eating all those greens and mushrooms.

The taste is very mushroom-y and also the feta cheese has a very full-bodied flavour. Hence i would not recommend you guys to order this sandwich if you are not into mushrooms and cheese.

As for myself, I can take these strong tastes and hence this sandwich tasted rather yummy for me :)

Earl Grey Lavender Tea (SGD5.00+)

This tea is infused with the aroma of lavender when served - however the taste is still Earl Gray.

This tea was made with teabag and hence the taste should be rather standard :)

Le' Service

The service of this cafe is really good despite the crew being fairly young and that service charge of 10% was not required from the customers. The staff will greet us with bright smiling faces and there was this big guy standing at the entrance to help us open and close the doors. Also, I saw one of the staff helping one of the customer to empty his tray loaded with food when he arrived at his table. Another staff also helped a large group combine 2 tables together at the back to ensure that they can settle down cozily. I could really see that they enjoyed working in that place and have the passion to serve - this is just so rare in Singapore (perhaps I was snubbed too badly @ Paris Baguette earlier and hence I really do value and appreciate a place that offers great service).

Le' Total Damage

Overall

I would strongly recommend artisan boulangerie co. for their great food and service. Indeed, this is the best alternative to Paris Baguette :)
