Le' Ambience
We queued for nearly 30 minutes before we were seated!
Like any other steamboat place, the premise is rather rowdy with customers chatting in the background. Also, the staff were very energetic and would shout greetings as and when guests come and go. That is something entertaining :)
Le' Menu

Le' Food
Nikumaki Onigiri in Original (SGD3.50++), with Cheese (SGD3.80++) and with Yuzu Pepper and Mayo (SGD3.80++)
Nikumaki Onigiris ~ |
The Onigiris are made up of bite-sized (not really) rice balls wrapped in pork and baked with a special soy sauce. It tasted pretty sweet perhaps due to its starchy content and it can be pretty filling :)
Close-Up |
Bijin Nabe Serving for 3 Pax (SGD75++)
The Bijin Nabe is a combination of the freshest vegetables, seafood and chicken cooked in Golden JIDORI Chicken Soup.
The Golden JIDORI Chicken Soup is being transported from the farms in Japan to maintain the best quality *WOW*
The Soup Stock was solidified in a pudding texture and requires some heat to melt... The process of making the Soup Stock involves dissolving chicken bones and allowing it to cool into room temperature - this soup is super rich in collagen.
The Bijin Nabe promotes beautiful skin due to its healthy ingredients and dose of collagen :)
Le' Service
The service provided by the staff is very friendly and we realised that some of them were actually Japanese. We enjoy seeing them work with such great motivation on a Saturday evening. Hope they can continue to maintain their service standards in the long-run :)
When we were almost done with the food, the staff served us a small saucer with seaweed paste on top fashioned in a heart shape. She told us to add some of this paste onto a little bit of soup to try - we can enjoy the chicken soup in a different flavour!

Seaweed Paste... |
Then, the staff drew a cute portrait of me and served us with small bits of jelly for desserts (complimentary). We were actually very impressed with the effort placed in drawing that with chocolate and strawberry sauce!
Artistic desserts served :) |
Le' Total Damage
Good food comes with a good price tag of course!
Overall
It was an eye-opening experience for me to try the collagen enriched Bijin Nabe. In order to retain customer loyalty, we were being presented with the Loyalty Card whereby we will be rewarded with free appetisers on our subsequent visit.
Our starting rank is "Assistant Manager" and we have to work our way up to be the Chairman of the Board :)
