What is Collagen?
Collagen is a protein in the human body which is required to maintain the structure and density of your skin. Collagen proteins derived from fish contain high amounts of amino acids and peptides directly involved in the formation of collagen and elastin.
Ideally, young and healthy skin should consist of about 80% of collagen. However our bodies produce lesser collagen in our mid 30s which results in our skin not being able to regenerate naturally.
As we advance in age, the level of collagen drops to about 40% and our skin will lose its firmness and wrinkles starts to form.
When is BEST to take Collagen?
It is better to start earlier in order to enjoy the long term benefits - but improvements can be made at practically any age!

My Review
MIEUX contains Apple extract and the taste wise is rather sweet and sourish but not very unpleasant in my own opinion. Texture wise is syrupy (tastes better than cough syrup).
I could drink the entire bottle without hiccups unlike other brands of marine collagen which I have tried earlier which contains the fishy taste.
Also, I noticed that my skin has become smoother after consumption :)
