Tamsui in Love and Din Tai Fung Dinner ♥

After returning from Hualien, we visited Tamsui in the evening.

We rented bikes to help us travel faster as it would be a long distance to walk on foot.

On the way to the pier, we went pass the Tamsui Old Street and Sweetie Muffin spotted his favourite food stall - 阿婆鐵蛋 (A Pó Tiê Dàn - literally means Granny's Metal Eggs in Chinese) stall.. They are actually small black and hard quail eggs which have been preserved and vacuum packed in plastic wrappers. They tasted like Century Eggs and I found them rather normal tasting... Not the eggs I would die for definitely!

I brought along my Olympus Pen E-PL 6 for the Taiwan Trip but was disappointed at the difficulty in taking good night shots and hence resorted to using my iPhone 5S to capture our wonderful memories instead...

Admire the beautiful sunset...
I was pretty amazed by the quality of my photos taken by my iPhone 5S and its performance in low-light condition! The photos were completely blur on my Olympus Pen E-PL6 whenever I tried to shoot the night scenes :( I was glad I bought the Samsung NX Mini afterwards because the Olympus Pen E-PL6 were simply not user-friendly (or rather I'm too noob to use it?).

Dinner @ Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐)

We were famished by the time we were done with our Sight-Seeing at the Tamsui Pier.

Visiting our favourite restaurant - Din Tai Fung seemed to be a must when we visit Taiwan and hence we visited it. This is not the main brunch as the main one was not situated near to Tamsui. We settled to another one located in the shopping mall instead.

The food in Din Tai Fung tasted great.. In fact, there is no difference in taste VS the outlets in Singapore. We still love their Xiao Long Bao all the same - be it in Singapore or Taiwan :)
