Whimsical Café Experience

I am always enchanted by the whimsical charm of Arab Street.

Indeed Arab Street has many interesting looking cafés and eateries. This time round, we would be visiting the La Marelle Café and Boutique.

After seeing a few online reviews of the place, I was very curious about this place and made it a point to visit this café as it was housed in a vibrantly coloured shophouse.

Le Ambience

I believe that pictures do speak a thousand words.

I was attracted to this café due to its whimsical appeal :) The vibrantly coloured walls, the raindrops and fanciful painted ceilings were too charming to be missed.

Neon Green Signboard reminds me of French Movie - Amélie

Muslim Patrons in the Café

The café was rowdy and filled with a lot of people. The tables were to close to each other and there was not much space either :(

This café is not Halal-Certified but the ingredients are supplied by a Halal-Certified Supplier and the chef is a Muslim as well. Hence it is not surprising to see Muslim patrons in the café as well :)

Raindrops ;)
Level 2 to house more customers ;)

I actually wanted to try their rainbow cake but I wasn't in luck as they do not happen to have rainbow cakes that day :( Hence this red velvet.

Le Boutique

La Marelle Café is also a boutique that sells their own mechanise.

Overall

To be honest, the food and drinks tasted pretty mediocre. The only appeal was the vibrantly coloured décor I guess..
