Brunch @ Artistry
Ever imagined yourself dining in the midst of an art gallery?
Artistry is the place you should go if you still have some active artistic cells in you :)
Situated near Arab Street and under a corner of a shophouse, Artistry is a very secluded place for you to dine and admire the paintings displayed in the café.

Le' Ambience
The café was super crowded with diners when we arrived. We were expecting for somebody to serve us or show us to a seat but we received nothing of that sort which was really disappointing as we travelled all the way to this café after reading some really good Facebook reviews of the place.
Alfresco Dining Area |
The outdoor dining area looked rather rustic and it was rather warm to sit in the outdoors under the hot afternoon sun...
Interior Dining Area |
The interior of the cafe is actually rather small. The layout is very similar to a small art gallery showcasing Scenes drawn by artist - Simon Ng.

Le' Menu
What We Ordered
As I am an egg lover, I went for the Eggs Benedict without much hesitation. Kriston on the other hand ordered the Belgian Waffles and Truffle Fries for variety. Lastly, I ordered a cup of Latte after being advised that there was no Mocha...
Le' Food
Latte (SGD5.00)
I ordered this just to admire the latte art anyway...

Truffle Fries (SGD10.00)
The truffle fries tasted mediocre but still acceptable to our tastebuds.

Oh yes, the mayonnaise sauce provided was barely enough for the fries portion served. However that is a small matter as we can always go and request for more...
Not Enough Mayonnaise... .... |
Eggs Benedict (SGD23)
Eggs Benedict (SGD23) |
This dish was simply too meaty to my liking. The beef tasted really strong and... It tasted like canned sardines!
Eggs Benedict (SGD23) |
My greatest regret was to order this dish as this is the most costly among the other dishes we have ordered and I find it quite overpriced for a canned food like taste. Meh :(

Belgium Waffles (SGD7.00) + Double-Scoop Vanilla Ice-Cream (SGD5.00) served with Fig and Honey Sauce

This is the best tasting dish in my opinion. Was really grateful that Kriston ordered this before I start to feel disappointed with all the food we have ordered.
Le' Total Damage
Total Damage? It was a good S$50. Worth the price? I'll let you guys judge.
Overall
We did not really enjoy our stay there because the service was not very friendly. The café is not as spacious as we thought it should be and the food did not fulfil our expectations. It might still be a pleasant place to visit if you like art though :)
