Looking for a place to relish your childhood memories and enjoy warm and fluffy pancakes over a cup of lovely latte with your friends / family? You can bring them to Batter Fluffy Flaps (BFF)!
We happen to be exploring the Katong area this time round and Sweetie Muffin was attracted to Batter Fluffy Flaps by its colourful and vibrant décor. Whilst we were standing outside the café, one of the staff came out to welcome us and explain to us about the menu (that was very nice of him). We entered the café after being convinced that pancakes can fill our tummies too.
I am an ardent fan of the Hot Cakes served by MacDonald's for breakfast since young. Hence my liking of pancakes is similar to those served by MacDonald's (is that considered the standard?).

The décor resembles a childcare / nursery - vibrantly painted with drawings of lambs.
There is also a statue of a lamb at the café entrance (in place of stone lions commonly displayed in front of most Chinese Restaurants?) and I love the décor lots because I am a child at heart ~

I so love love love the menu! It looks like a storybook with cute and elaborate illustrations on it! The owner must have spent a lot of effort in the décor. I love every part of the café!

What We Ordered
We spent quite some time flipping the menu and admiring the illustrations on it before deciding what to order... We ended up ordering a BFF Special Set consisting of Juicy Beefy Patty, Teriyaki Chicken Wrap, Truffle Ruffles, Hot Peppermint Mocha and Arizona Iced Tea.

I chose the Lemon Flavour Iced Tea. Tasted like normal Iced Lemon Tea but I kind of liked the bottle.. But I think I really regretted ordering this after seeing Sweetie Muffin's Hot Peppermint Mocha which looked more special~~

Sweetie Muffin was full of praises for his Teriyaki Chicken Wrap too. He said that the portion was very sufficient for café fare and it is meaty enough to satisfy his meat cravings. Also, the vegetables used are great too :)

The set is considered really worthwhile as our tummies were filled to the brim with the awesomeness~
Overall
We would recommend this café to couples, friends and families with children - it is a very nice place to visit and the food is great too!
