Had a casual catch-up dinner with ex-colleages today @ Dozo. It was a wonderful dining experience that I can't help but spam photos onto this post :)

Le' Ambience

The place was dimmed as we planned to have our dinner there. However there was a huge glass panel in front where you get to see what's happening down the streets. Sorry, Da Rabbit could not snap any quality shots during dim conditions :(

Le' Menu

The Menu is silky to touch due to the fabric and it is in Burgundy.. OK, Da Rabbit is not doing an aesthetics review of the menu.. haha

Dozo

The Full Course which consists of the following:

  • Starter (Chef's Selection of Assorted Platter)

  • Cold Dish

  • Side Dish

  • Soup

  • Main

  • Dessert

  • Drinks

Dozo

Le' Foodie

Chef's Selection of Assorted Platter

Whoa! The Platter looked very vibrant indeed!
Also, the wasabi (the light green paste in the photo below) was shaped in a shape of a leaf. How innovative!!!

Dozo

Beef Tataki

Warning: It will taste super beefy. Please avoid this dish if you are a meat hater. You will be so overwhelmed by the meaty taste to try anything else at the end of da day.. Haha

Dozo

Soft Shell Crab

We love how the chef decorate the plate. It looked just like a beauty painting of a DEAD living crab swimming in the ocean.. *Please use some imagination on this*

Dozo

"I tried to swim, but my backside got glued by some mayonnaise paste..."

Dozo

Escargots

The portion is petite here. But its rich in flavour. We quite like this dish :) By the way, do note that you will be eating snails.. If you do not like the idea of snail eating, then please do not touch this dish and donate some to Da Rabbit!

Dozo

Crab Bisque

The Crab Bisque was extremely rich and creamy. Good that the portion wasn't that big. Its just like drinking a shot of espresso.. LOL

Dozo

Well, you realised that the chef tried to decorate this dish with a ... CRAB PINCER? Yes, he has to show that the syrupy stuff is made of crab and not prawns or something cheap. So the pincer is placed there as an evidence I guess? *LOL*

Dozo

Mushroom Truffles Soup

Mushroom Truffles soup is rich with that mushroomy fragrance~ Really great!!

Dozo

Korubuta Pork Cheek

Hmm normally we eat Pork's liver, Pork's Belly, Pig's Intestines etc.. But how does pork cheek taste like? Pork Cheek is very lean but moist meat and is connected by collagen and tissues. When cooked for a prolonged period, the meat becomes relatively tender in texture. It's something you should try if you have not tried eating this unique part of the Pig.

The Korubuta Pork Cheek Tasted great with the sauce and asparagus.

Dozo

Mocktail of LOVE

It is a love potion consisting of apple, passion fruit and mint. Utterly refreshing and it's served in a pair of test tubes. So perhaps you can share this with your better half :)

It's a pity that the 2 people seated opposite me ain't' couples...

Dozo

Rose Lemon Tea

Rose Lemon Tea. It tastes refreshing with the light rose scent and a zest of tangy lemon taste.

Dozo

Fruity Refresher

Beverage which contains assorted fresh fruits. Looking great ain't it?

Dozo

Freshly Baked Warm Chocolate Cake served with Ice-Cream

We love the feelin' of eating something warm and cold at the same time. It's so perky to do that!
Yes, we do LOVE our desserts. The portion is just right after eating so much.. LOL

Dozo

Great Companionship

Also, we took some pictures for keepsakes :)
